Candlelighters of Brevard
This nonprofit organization offers emotional and mental support as well as financial support to children with cancer and their families within our community. They understand the powerful emotional impact of this disease on all peoples involved and work hard to influence their mental health positively. Mind of Culture works with Candlelighters of Brevard closely by donating to them, participating in their events, and volunteering for them.
Brevard Health Department
This organization’s mission is to promote, protect, maintain, and improve the health of all citizens in our community. They have a health clinic for teenagers of all cultural backgrounds that focuses on their mental and emotional health and supports all of their needs. Mind of Culture works with this organization by donating to it and using it as a source for much of our mental health research and investigation specific to our community.
